Carter: (06:13)
So let's, let's read this Psalm of David as a Psalm of praise, but it's also a Psalm of declaration and intercession. So let's look at verse one. He says, God arise with awesome power. And every one of your enemies will scatter in fear. God, I just ask you to do that today. As I, as I said to you in my prayer time, God, we just release your awesome power in this nation. As we come into our elections, I pray Lord that there would be significant movement of the spirit world that would defeat the powers of darkness in our nation.
Carter: (10:44)
Let them be glad and be radiant with joy. I believe that is something that literally brings fear to our enemies because when, when they say boo we go, what? We're not scared of you. God is on me. God is in me. God is around me. And the God of the universe is telling me to have radiant joy. I laugh at your confrontation. I am so full of joy. I can give you his love. Ha, here you go. Have some love. Right? Okay. Wow. All right. So verse four, we read a minute ago, let them sing their celebration songs. We should be seeming and joyful and celebrating for the coming of the cloud writer. Whose name is y'all. I just love that the cloud writer there was thinking about that. And there's several places in scripture where God, this is a God rides upon the crock clouds.
Carter: (15:54)
Exodus chapter 14, verse 34 through 38, that, that when the cloud moved, um, all of a sudden they said, God's moving. We have to move with him. There's a, there's a, there's a dynamic principle here that, that, that we now really are on the tabernacle of God. We have the Holy spirit life, the life of God lives and resides in us.
Carter: (16:49)
But the reality is he's coming to make our lives, his home and his presence is with us and is in us when he begins the move in your life, you know, when you're ministering or what, you've just walking down, maybe at work and all of a sudden, wow, God, I feel you, there's something going on. It's kind of like it's in him. We live and move and have our being right, this, this reality. But, and this is the picture that David is describing that the Lord marched in front of his much in front of his people, leading them through the wasteland. In other words, there's this old Testament imagery that we bring forward to us. And that we have this ability to actually, be in his presence. And when he moves, we begin to move with him. When he tells to do something, we begin to do what he tells us to do.
